A scenic train ride through the forest will delight every child. The Orava Forest Railway offers views of the surrounding countryside and an unforgettable experience of riding a historic locomotive. It is located in Orava Lesná and also runs on weekends and public holidays.

4. Cycle route with views of the Tatras – we’ll lend you bikes

Near Oravský Háj there is a cycle route leading from Trstena to Suchá Hora, across the border with Poland to Nowy Targ. It is 35 kilometres long and is suitable for children along its entire length. There is a refreshment buffet on this cycle path and you will be accompanied by beautiful views of the Tatras Mountains. You can rent bicycles directly at our reception.
