Reservation, payment and cancellation of stay
Can I use a recreation voucher at your hotel?
Yes, you can use a recreation voucher from your employer at our facility. Just let us know in advance so that we can prepare a pro forma invoice and the necessary documents for its correct application.
What is the check-in and check-out time?
Check-in is possible from 2:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Check-out is from 7:30 a.m. to 10:00 a.m.
Earlier or later check-in and check-out is possible upon prior agreement with the reception desk for a fee.
How can I pay for my stay?
You can pay for your stay in cash in euros or by VISA / Master Card.
Is it necessary to pay a deposit for the stay in advance?
The deposit amount is 100% of the total price of the stay, or 50% upon agreement with the reception desk.
Is it possible to cancel a reservation?
Cancellation of reservations is possible according to our current cancellation policy. Please contact the reception desk for more details.
Dining
What are the dining options at your hotel?
We offer accommodation with breakfast or half board. The hotel has a restaurant that serves breakfast and dinner, and during the day you can enjoy lunch from the à la carte menu. It is also open to the public every day.
What are the breakfast and dinner times?
Breakfast is served from 8:00 to 10:00, and dinner from 17:00 to 20:30.
How are breakfast and dinner served?
Both breakfast and dinner are served buffet style.
What is the selection of dishes during breakfast and dinner?
Breakfast includes hot and cold buffets with continental dishes, a healthy food buffet, cereals and muesli, children’s favorites, fruit, and a beverage bar with hot and cold drinks.
Dinner includes at least two types of meat, a meatless dish, and a choice of two soups. Drinks for dinner can be ordered at the list price.
I have a food allergy/intolerance, can you accommodate me?
Yes, of course. If you have a food allergy, each of our dishes is labeled with allergens to help you make your decision. Upon request, we can replace individual ingredients with others, if possible.
If you have a food allergy or intolerance, please contact the reception desk before your stay, where we can arrange special meals for you upon prior agreement.
Do you offer room service?
Unfortunately, we do not offer this service at our resort.
Additional questions
Is parking available on the resort grounds?
Yes, free parking is available for our guests on the hotel grounds. Parking spaces are located near almost every cottage.
Is it possible to charge an electric car at your resort?
Yes, we have reserved parking spaces with electric chargers for our guests with electric cars. Charging your car is free of charge during your stay.
Can I bring my pet with me?
Yes, pets (dogs or cats) are welcome, but you must notify the reception desk in advance. There is a fee for their stay according to the valid price list, depending on the size of the dog (maximum 15 kg). Pets are allowed in every cottage except cottage 5.
Each guest is required to read the conditions for staying with a dog and to behave accordingly throughout their stay.
Is the resort wheelchair accessible for people with disabilities?
Our resort is relatively well adapted for guests with disabilities. This means that they can easily get from their cottage (except cottage 3) to the main building – to the reception or restaurant. As for the room, we can provide a room on the ground floor.
Is it possible to borrow children's equipment?
Of course, upon request, we will prepare a cot, baby bath, step stool for the sink, and potty for your room free of charge. The restaurant has a high chair, and the toilets have a changing table and potty.
Do you rent bathrobes and slippers for the wellness center?
Unfortunately, we do not currently rent bathrobes or slippers.
Do you sell items at reception?
Yes, if you forgot to pack your toothbrush, toothpaste, feminine hygiene products, or basic cosmetics, you can purchase them at reception.
In addition, you can also buy cigarettes, souvenirs, disposable massage underwear, gift items, wines from the Chateau GRAND BARI winery, and meat products and eggs from our farm.
How safe is the hotel?
The entire Oravský Háj property is fenced and monitored by a camera system. However, we are not responsible for theft or damage to property.
